Mr. Leslie Huckfield

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will require a standard set of emergency instructions for British-registered aircraft.

Mr. Goronwy Roberts:

No. There is no present evidence that greater standardisation would serve any useful purpose. Emergency instructions are among the matters inspected by my Flight Operations Inspectorate and so are kept under review.
