HC Deb 14 May 1970 vol 801 c313W
52. Mr. Judd

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what recent discussions he has had with the Marylebone Cricket Club and the Cricket Council concerning any possible breach of the peace resulting from the proposed South African cricket tour.

Mr. Callaghan:

I have not myself had any recent discussions but chief officers of police, who are responsible for maintaining public order, are in touch with the Cricket Council and cricket clubs.
