§ Mr. Brooksasked the Minister of Overseas Development if she will now give further details of the increased support for multilateral programmes in the field of population and family planning.
§ Mrs. Hart:I propose to double our grant to the International Planned Parenthood Federation for the second year running, bringing it up to £200,000 for the current financial year; to support the population activities of the O.E.C.D. Development Centre in Paris with a grant of £10,417 a year for the next two years, and to make a grant of £400,000 to the United Nations Fund for Population Activities of which £150,000 might be 354W spent in the current financial year and the balance in 1971–72. I also envisage further, and probably increased, support for both the I.P.P.F. and the United Nations Fund in future years if their programmes warrant it.
