Q12. Mr. Dodds-Parker

asked the Prime Minister if he will make a statement on Her Majesty's Government's future defence and foreign policy in Europe, following the recent official proposals of the United States of America to reduce its forces stationed in Western Europe.

The Prime Minister:

I have nothing to add to what my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence said in the House on 6th May following a question by the hon. Member for Beckenham (Mr. Goodhart)—[Vol. 801, c. 400–2].
