§ Mr. Malcolm MacMillanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will give full assistance to Inverness 348W County Council and the other authorities concerned with the construction of the proposed new airfield in Barra, in particular with making suitable land on his Department's estates available for this purpose as required.
§ Mr. Ross:I have not yet been asked to make land available for this purpose, but I would certainly consider doing so if asked. I understand that the project is at present under discussion between the Highlands and Islands Development Board and Inverness County Council.
