asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what plans have been agreed for the future of the Architectural Association's School of Architecture.

Mr. Fowler:

Responsibility for the future of the school rests with the Architectural Association and not with the Department. I understand that it is considering a number of alternative possibilities but has reached no conclusions.
