§ 22. Mr. Pardoeasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many less civil servants will be required by his Department as a result of the changes in the sampling arrangements for the Agricultural Census Returns, details of which were sent to some farmers in March.
§ Mr. Mackie:The main purpose of these proposals is to reduce form-filling for the majority of farmers. There will be some consequential reduction of time spent by the Department's staff in processing the returns.
