HC Deb 12 May 1970 vol 801 cc258-9W
Mr. Arthur Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Local Government and Regional Planning if he will review the definition of derelict land for the purposes of the Annual Derelict Land Survey, with a view to including land in current use for tipping, which is subject to planning permission for future development, or which is unusable.

Mr. Crosland:

The definition is sufficient to indicate the immidate scope for action by local authorities but it has been under review and the Minister of Housing and Local Government has put to the local authority associations proposals for widening its ambit.
