Q10. Mr. John Fraser

asked the Prime Minister whether he will advise the setting up of a Royal Commission to inquire into the possible relationship between violence portrayed on television and the commission of violent crime.

The Prime Minister:

No. I think that at present the right way to pursue this is through the discussions which my right hon. Friends the Home Secretary and the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications are having with the B.B.C. and the I.T.A.
