§ Mr. Donnellyasked the Secretary of State for Wales what estimates he has made of the total cost of the Llysyfan reservoir and the Milford Haven Bridge; and how far the combined costs of these two projects compare with the estimated cost of the original Milford Haven Tidal Barrage in 1959.
§ Mr. George Thomas:It is estimated that the cost of the Milford Haven Bridge will be approximately £3 million and the Pembrokeshire Water Board's latest estimate of the cost of the Llysyfan Reservoir and the ancillary works is £4.5 million. The tidal barrage proposed in the 1959 Bill was estimated to cost £3 million at that time.
