asked the Prime Minister on what date he received a communication from the Federation of Newham Tenants' Association on matters connected with the grant issue resultant upon the Ronan Point disaster; what was the nature of this communication; what was the date and content of his reply to this communication; and whether he will make a statement.

The Prime Minister:

I would refer my hon. Friend to my reply to a similar question by him on Tuesday. The letter to the Association explained why the Government do not feel able to make a further increase in the grant.—[Vol. 801, c. 99–100.]
