asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what was the total expenditure on teachers' pay for each of the years 1964–1969 inclusive.

The available figures for the years 1964–65 to 1968–69 are in the table below. No comparable information for 1969–70 is yet available.

whether he will request the Standing Commission on Museums and Galleries to institute detailed studies at each national and provincial institution under the purview of the Standing Commission as to how access for disabled members of the public can be improved with the object of ensuring that at each institution there is at least one method of entry for the disabled to the main part of the collection, and to cost the resultant studies.
