Mr. Evelyn Kingasked the Secretary of State for Defence what steps he proposes taking between now and October next, the qualifying date for inclusion in the 1971–72 Register of Electors, to bring to the notice of every man and woman in Her Majesty's forces the need for making the annual service declaration.
. Hattersley:Detailed instructions about the procedure for making the annual Service declaration for inclusion in the 1971 Register of Electors will be issued to all Service units in the near future together with supplies of individual registration forms and instructions for their completion.
