§ Mr. Merlyn Rees:I assume that the hon. Member is referring to small fire extinguishers. Discussions are at present taking place with the British Standards Institution on the establishment of criteria against which the performance 147W and reliability of these appliances can be assessed. The need for any further Government action will be considered in the light of the outcome of these discussions.
