§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what number of deaths have been reported for the latest convenient stated period arising from diseases caused by radiation in Scotland; and what is the incidence at present of such diseases.
§ Mr. Ross:No deaths were registered as caused by radiation in the year 1968. In that year there were 38 cases of discharge from hospital where the principal diagnosis was reported as an effect of radiation.
