asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received from motoring associations concerning the fact that £150 million is collected in motor taxes from Scotland and £40 million is to be used specifically on Scottish roads; and what reply he has sent.

Mr. Ross:

I have received no representations, although I know that spokesmen for a motoring association have recently made statements on this subject.
