Mr. Snow

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the nature of the reply sent to the Warwickshire County Cricket Club in answer to its application to his Department for the supply of barbed wire.

Mr. Hattersley:

As the loan requested would not be in conformity with longstanding Ministry of Defence regulations, it has been refused.
