HC Deb 04 May 1970 vol 801 c4W
23. Mr. Molloy

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make representations to the Indian Government regarding discrimination against British newspaper correspondents seeking to enter Nagaland.

Mr. Foley:

The Government of India does not permit journalists of any foreign country to enter Nagaland and has not done so for several years. There is, therefore, no discrimination against British correspondents and no case for representations to the Government of India.
