asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if she will hold discussions with the chemical industry, trades unions concerned, and the medical profession on the effects of fumes on the health of workers engaged in the manufacture of plastic foam and other polyurethanes, in view of the fact that these may be harmful.

Mr. Harold Walker:

Discussions on the lines proposed by my hon. Friend, in which H.M. Factory Inspectorate are involved, are already taking place.
