HL Deb 04 May 1970 vol 310 c107WA
LORD WILLIS

asked Her Majesty's Government:

  1. (a) Which films qualified for payments from the British Film Production Fund in 1967, 1968 and 1969;
  2. (b) How much was paid to each individual film, and to whom;
  3. (c) What proportion of such payments was retained by distributors.

LORD BROWN

Films qualify for payments from the Fund if they satisfy the conditions set out in the Cinematograph Films (Distribution of Levy) Regulations 1963 (S.I. 1963 No. 1376) as amended. Payments are made by the British Film Fund Agency and it is not their practice to disclose information about individual films.
