asked the Minister of Public Building and Works if he will make a statement about the proposed exhibition of Henry VIII costumes at Hampton Court.

Mr. John Silkin:

By kind permission of the B.B.C. and in association with the office of the Lord Chamberlain there will be a temporary exhibition in Hampton Court Palace of some of the costumes used in the recent B.B.C. television serial " The Six Wives of Henry VIII ". It will last from 5th May to 4th July and will be staged in the Great Watching Chamber which was built by Henry VIII in 1535–36.
