HC Deb 26 March 1970 vol 798 c515W
Mr. Malcolm MacMillan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what proposals have recently been submitted to him for approval and aid by Inverness County Council for water supply schemes, by local names, for the Island of South Uist and each of the other Inverness-shire islands in the Outer Hebrides; and if he will name those districts for which no starting dates have yet been fixed by the council;

(2) when the water supply scheme for Vatersay Island is expected to be completed; and at what estimated total, and per household, cost.

Mr. Ross

During the last six months the Inverness-shire Regional Water Board has submitted proposals for a water scheme for South Boisdale and South Lochboisdale. I have asked the board to send my hon. Friend the remaining information.
