HC Deb 26 March 1970 vol 798 cc488-9W
Mr. David Mitchell

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will institute a review by the Standing Advisory Committee on dangerous substances, of the 1957 regulations on the conveyance by road of petroleum spirit, in view of the fact that these regulations preclude the delivery of petroleum spirit to unmanned filling stations and delay productivity advances in the transport and distribution of petroleum.

Mr. Merlyn Rees

My right hon. Friend will ask the Standing Advisory Committee to review these regulations as soon as its current work on regulations relating to the conveyance by road of other inflammable liquids is complete.
