HC Deb 26 March 1970 vol 798 cc522-3W
Captain Kerby

asked the Minister for the Civil Service what considerations led him to aprove, in concert with the President of the Board of Trade, a salary of £6,600 per annum plus expenses, to Mr. J. C. McGrath upon his appointment as Financial Controller to the British Airports Authority.

Mr. Shore

This salary was approved because it was in line with the general pattern of salaries for nationalised industry board members, having regard to the responsibilities of the post.
