asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will require the Hertfordshire County Council to hold a public inquiry into its proposals for a permanent site for itinerant caravan dwellers at Barley Mow Lane, Smallford, Colney Heath.

No. It is for the Hertfordshire County Council to decide how to discharge its responsibilities. No doubt it will give due consideration to the views of objectors.
