asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if she is satisfied with the working of the Industrial Selection Scheme; and if she will make a statement.

The operation of the scheme is kept under constant review by my Department, the Department of my right hon. Friend the Minister of Housing and Local Government and the Greater London Council, and if my hon. Friend has particular points in mind I shall be glad to consider them.
