HC Deb 25 March 1970 vol 798 cc426-7W
Mr. Stratton Mills

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what artistic contribution the United Kingdom Government are making to the artistic programme of the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972.

Mr. Foley

I am advised that arrangements for cultural events during the 1972 Olympic Games are being made by individual theatre and concert managements in Munich, acting in co-operation with an Olympic Cultural Committee. Three approaches for possible British appearances have been received by the British Council. Two of these are still tentative; the third is in negotiation.
