§ Mr. MackieIt is estimated that 1.8 million nutrient tons of fertilisers and 4.5 million tons of lime, valued at £148 million and £10.2 million respectively, will be delivered to farmers in the United Kingdom during 1970. About one-quarter of the fertilisers and one-seventh of the lime is likely to have been delivered by 18th March.
