§ Dr. David OwenTwo destroyers or frigates and one Royal Fleet Auxiliary, with air reconnaissance, are normally employed on the Beira Patrol. They are found from the general purpose combat forces which are not individually "slice costed". Their running costs, which would be incurred wherever they were deployed, amount to about £2,750,000 a year.
