HC Deb 23 March 1970 vol 798 cc309-10W
Mr. Hobden

asked the Attorney-General if he will take steps to implement the recommendation by the Law Society that a lay person should be permitted to sit on the Disciplinary Committee; and if he will make a statement.

The Attorney-General

My noble and learned Friend the Lord Chancellor has not received a recommendation on this subject from the Law Society. If and when he receives one, he will of course consider it.
