asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what percentage by value and by number, of Government orders for computers have been won by International Computers Limited since January. 1969; how many of these orders were awarded as a result of competitive tender, and what was their value; and in how many cases where orders were put out to competitive tender they were won by International Computers Limited and by other companies, respectively.

International Computers Ltd. has received 47 per cent. by value and 28 per cent. by number of the orders placed by Her Majesty's Stationery Office for computers for central Government since 1st January, 1969. Four orders to a total value of £925,000, went to I.C.L. out of 17 orders to a total value of £9,100,000 awarded after competitive tender.
