Healdasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why he has not informed the House of the constitution, membership and precise terms of reference of the Committee on Privacy; and whether he will now do so, in view of his plans to refer the subject of the circulation of unsolicited and offensive material to the committee.
§ Mr. CallaghanI announced the terms of reference of the Committee on Privacy to the House during the Second Reading of the Right of Privacy Bill on 23rd January, 1970, and at the same time informed the House of Mr. Kenneth Younger's willingness to serve as chairman.
