HC Deb 23 March 1970 vol 798 cc265-6W
81. Mr. Hastings

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is the result of the discussions with the Danish Government regarding the prevention of deep-sea fishing of Atlantic salmon.

Mr. Luard

As my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture said on 11th March, we are in constant consultation with the Danish Government and other Governments concerned. These discussions are, of course, confidential, but I hope to see an effective and equitable solution in the near future.—[Vol. 797, c. 1333–4.]
