§ Mr. Rankinasked the Secretary of State for Scotland to what extent the Salmon Report has been implemented in Scotland, particularly in regard to standards in the management of hospital nursing.
§ Mr. RossThe nurse staffing in six hospital groups has been restructured in accordance with the management standards recommended in the Salmon Report; a seventh scheme becomes operative on 1st April, 1970; and several more schemes are in an advanced state of preparation. Courses in management training for nurses are being run under the aegis of the Scottish Nursing Staffs Committee.
