§ Mr. Arthur Pearsonasked the Secretary of State for Wales when he expects work to start on the schemes for the improvement of the A4223 road in the centre of Pontypridd.
§ Mr. George ThomasI have made a grant of £68,323 to Pontypridd Urban District Council towards the cost of the scheme, estimated at £91,097. The starting date for the work is a matter for the urban district council as the highway authority, but I expect this to be shortly.
