Mr. John Wellsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table showing, from information available to him from international sources, the costs of production of strawberries by any convenient unit in Mexico, Israel and any other countries from which strawberries have been imported in recent years during April and May.
§ Mr. HoyThe Department does not have this information or know of international sources that collect it. Owing to the many variable factors affecting production costs in each country a table would tend to be misleading unless figures could be provided on a comparable basis.
