§ Mr. Symondsasked the Minister of Transport (1) what was the amount paid to Cumberland County Council in respect of new roadworks and repairs to existing ones for the periods 1961 to 1964 and 1967 to 1970, respectively;
(2) what was the amount of grants paid to Whitehaven Council in respect of new roads and repairs to existing ones for which they are responsible in the years 1967–68, 1968–69, and 1969–70, respectively.
