§ Mr. Crouchasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he is satisfied as to the extent of the powers of the police to search for missing persons who have been made wards of court; and if he will make a statement;
(2) if he will obtain a report from the Chief Constable as to the steps taken by the police to find Jeremy Rowe, a 10year-old ward of court, who disappeared from his home in Canterbury on 10th May 1969.
§ Mr. Elystan MorganThe police are keeping my right hon. Friend informed of their extensive efforts to find this boy. He has no reason to believe that they are being hampered by any lack of powers.
