§ Mr. J. H. Osbornasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he can state the value of additional funds loaned in the form of overdraft to industry by the banks on 1st January, 1969, and subsequently during 1969, which have been transferred to fixed interest debenture, and other stock including equity, by 1st January, 1970; and what was the additional sum made available by this means for loans to industry within the ceiling set by him.
