asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will break down the total sum provided in the Civil Estimates for storm damage relief grants and loans by the Scottish Development Department into grants and loans respectively.

Of the £9,030,010 so far provided in the Civil Estimates, £4,843,010 is for grants and £4,187,000 for loans.
