§ 86. Mr. Arthur Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services to what extent he still treats the Green Paper on the National Health Service as a discussion paper; and whom he now proposes to include in discussions.
§ Mr. CrossmanApart from the three firm decisions to which I refer in my foreword, the whole of the Green Paper is open to discussion. A wide range of bodies, including those representing local government, the professional and other staff organisations and the management of the National Health Service, have been asked for their views and will take part in discussions. In addition views put forward from any quarter would be welcome and would be given consideration.
