HC Deb 16 March 1970 vol 798 c67W
Mr. Rose

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what representation he has received concerning the financing of a park and path on the Broadhurst Park, Mosten, Manchester, site formerly used for prefabricated houses; and whether he will authorise the clearing of the site and building of a footpath.

Mr. Greenwood

Retention of the bungalows on former open space was authorised until the end of 1965 and consent to their subsequent removal was not required. Reinstatement of the land to its former level of use including the reinstatement of any previous path is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Minister of Public Building and Works. If Manchester City Council require loan sanction for additional works any application will be considered on its merits.
