The numbers registered as unemployed at February, 1967, February, 1968, February, 1969, and February, 1970, in the Merseyside Development Area who last worked in Construction (Minimum List Heading 500 of the Standard Industrial Classification) were 4,406, 5,004, 5,887 and 7,167, respectively.
