asked the President of the Board of Trade what reserves have been accumulated by the British Overseas Airways Corporation since the passing of the Air Corporations Act, 1966.

Mr. Goronwy Roberts

From April, 1966, to March, 1969, B.O.A.C. has accumulated reserves of just over £47 million.

75. Mr. Onslow

asked the President of the Board of Trade what total amount of indebtedness has been incurred by the British Overseas Airways Corporation, and subsequently written off by Act of Parliament, since the passing of the Civil Aviation Act, 1960.

Under the Air Corporations Act, 1966, B.O.A.C. was relieved of liability for £110 million of their capital borrowings.
