HC Deb 11 March 1970 vol 797 c335W
Mr. Symonds

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science of the 400 primary school and 332 secondary school projects to be built in 1971–72 how many are to be built in Cumberland; and what is the total cost.

Mr. Edward Short

One primary school to the value at the new costlimits—of about £75,000—has so far been included in Cumberland's programme for 1971–72. I am still considering their other proposals for the replacement of old schools.
