§ Sir Knox Cunninghamasked the Secretary of State for Defence when he estimates that the Army and Royal Ulster Constabulary will take part in joint patrols inside Unity Flats on the Shankill Road in Belfast.
§ Mr. HattersleyMilitary patrols entering the Unity Flats to investigate specific incidents have on occasions been accompanied by members of the Royal Ulster Constabulary. Regular joint patrolling inside the flats will be instituted if and when it appears desirable to do so.
