asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what percentage of the home population is at work in Wales and England, respectively.

Mr. Dell

The numbers in civil employment at June 1968, expressed as a percentage of the home population aged 15 and above, were 50.4 per cent. for Wales and 59.9 per cent. for England. The corresponding figures for June 1969 will be available very shortly.
