§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesThe South African Ambassador in London today signed, on behalf of his Government, the following declaration of participation on the Bacon Market Sharing Understanding (Cmnd. 3957)
With reference to paragraph 13(a) of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Supply of Bacon to the United Kingdom Market signed in London on 25th February, 1969, the Government of the Republic of South Africa hereby declares that it intends to participate in and act in accordance with the said Memorandum of Understanding with effect from 1st April, 1970.
