Mr. Pardoe

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will make a statement about the 1970 to 1972 school-building allocation for Cornwall.

Mr. Edward Short

I have approved major school building programmes for Cornwall for these two years to a value of about £1.6 million, together with allocations of £419,000 for raising the school leaving age and £418,000 for minor projects.

Mr. Pardoe

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will state the number of, and list, the new primary and secondary schools which have been completed in Cornwall since 1964.
