HC Deb 09 March 1970 vol 797 c214W
51. Mr. Snow

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is delaying the provision of the health centre at the Dimbles, Lichfield; whether doctors have been invited to practise there; and what the response has been.

Dr. John Dunwoody

We have just received details of this project, which is included in Staffordshire County Council's capital building programme for 1970–71. Two doctors, who wish to take a third partner, intend to practise from the health centre subject to their being satisfied about the plans for the building and the conditions of occupancy. I understand that this project was postponed from 1969–70 to 1970–71 by the county council to enable it to give priority to three other health centres.
